01 Thomas Jefferson Bud Rose [14 Images] may be available for purchase 
Thomas Jefferson Bud Rose was born December 6, 1869 in Dallas County, MO to Andrew V. and Lydia Jane (Moreland)Rose. He married Lillie Bell Jones in 1896 in Montague County, TX. She was born July, 1877 to Jehu and Julia (Hutton) Jones in San Saba County, TX. The family worked as tenant farmers or share croppers. Seven children were born to Bud and Lillie, six survived to adulthood. Bud died of consumption May 31, 1914 and is buried in Richland Springs Cemetery, San Saba County, TX.

Bearllie Lee Rose was born December 4, 1898 to Bud and Lille (Jones) Rose around Sunset or Alvord near the Wise/Montague County line, Texas. He married Lillie Bell Bouldin on October 7, 1923 in the home of Lillie's mother north of Nocona near Spanish Fort. Lillie was born November 9, 1904 to Grant and Margaret "Maggie" (Phillips) Bouldin. Four children were born to this union: Lindall C. Rose, born April 30, 1925, north of Nocona in home of Grandmother Lillie (Jones)Rose on McGaughy place; Ivan Lemuel Rose, born January 21, 1929 at home north of Nocona and died a week later and is buried at the foot of Grandfather Grant Bouldin in Old Spanish Fort Cemetery, Montague County, TX; Patsy LaVerne born October 6, 1937 in Ryan, OK; and Judy Lea born September 23, 1941 in Ryan, OK. They lived north of Nocona until moving to Wichita Falls, TX in December of 1941. Bearllie died April 13, 1981 in Wichita Falls; Lillie died October 13, 1995 in Wichita Falls. Lindall Clinton Rose, born April 30, 1925 north of Nocona, Montague County, TX to Bearllie and Lillie (Bouldin) Rose, married Kathrane Lavell "Kitty" Fox at Lamar Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, TX on September 4, 1948. Kitty was born August 7, 1923 in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, TX. Three children were born to this union: Valorery, born October 10, 1949 in Wichita Falls; Lindall Clinton "Clint" Jr. born December 31, 1951 in Wichita Falls; and Subrina born November 19, 1954 in Wichita Falls. They moved from Wichita Falls to Waco, TX then settled in New Braunfels, Comal County, TX. Patsy LaVerne Rose was born October 6, 1937 in Ryan, OK (closest hospital to Nocona) to Bearllie Lee and Lillie Bell (Bouldin) Rose. She married James Ernest "Jimmy" Avara March 16, 1957 in Northside Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, TX. Three children were born to this union: Julia LaVerne Avara, born January 16, 1958; Jalene LaVelle Avara, born May 15, 1959; and Jamie Lynn Avara, born October 3, 1962. All the children were born in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Tx. This marriage ended in divorce. A second marriage to Barney Gonzalez ended with his sudden death due to heart attack. She married Vic DiFilippo and they enjoyed many years of traveling before his death due to ill health. Judy Lea Rose was born September 23, 1941 to Bearllie Lee Rose and Lillie Bell (Bouldin) Rose. She married Bobby Larry Patterson in the Emmanual Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Wichita County, TX on December 11, 1965. Bobby was born November 14, 1941. Two children were born to this union: Barry Lee Patterson, born September 22, 1967 in Wichita Falls, and Bobbi Lynne Patterson also born in Wichita Falls. Barry has two daughters: Morgan Hope Patterson, born September 15, 1990 in Wichita Falls, and Fallon Paige Patterson born May 26, 1994 in Wichita Falls. Judy is a former Real Estate Broker and a Paralegal by degree, but works in their family electrical contracting business. Bobby is a Master Electrician and Electrical Contractor by trade. Barry is also a Master Electrican and contractor and lives in Coppell, TX. Bobbi (Patterson) Hart is in the finance department of the corporate headquarters of a large retailer and lives in Arlington, Tx. She has a family of three fox terriors who rule her roost.

William Oliver Rose was born October 3, 1901 near Richland Springs, San Saba County, TX to Thomas Jefferson "Bud" and Lillie (Jones) Rose. He came from Brown County to Montague County in August 1918 with his mother, siblings and cousins in a covered wagon. William had one true love of his life and when fate (and her parents) prevented them from marrying, William never found anyone else. He had no children of his own, but "Uncle Bill" raised his sister Zella's daughter Neldara as his own. In 1941, William bought the old Valley View teacherage, the only house they ever owned and he worked at Texaco to make a living for his mother Lillie (Jones)Rose, sisters Ida and Zella and niece Neldara. He referred to this valley as "God's Country." They raised huge gardens and Zella sewed for the public to make ends meet. In his younger years, William played the guitar, ukelele, juice harp and steel guitar and loved to whistle. William died in Nocona, January 30, 1979 and is buried in the New Spanish Fort Cemetery in Montague County, TX. Earl Elijah Rose was born February 14, 1904 near Richland Springs, San Saba County, TX to Thomas Jefferson "Bud" and Lillie (Jones) Rose. He married Mabel Russell December 11, 1929 in Montague County, TX. Mable was born February 23, 1911. Four children were born to this union: Arvil Lee, born September 30, 1930; Condal Haven, born October 5, 1934; Treva Jo, born October 17, 1937; and Melva Jean, born August 16, 1940. All the children were born north of Nocona. Earl worked for an independent oil producer and Mabel was a housewife. Earl died of a sudden heart attack December 25, 1976 in their home in Nocona. Ida Delilah Rose was born May 6, 1907 in McCulloch County, TX to Thomas Jefferson "Bud" and Lillie (Jones) Rose. She married Cecil Bowers September 19, 1934 in Waurika, OK. Cecil had a severe drinking problem, thus the marriage ended in divorce and no children were born to this union. She worked as a companion and driver for neighbor Mrs. Maddox. Consequently, she got to see every movie that came into the area in the 1930s. Ida lived out the rest of her live with mama Lillie, brother William, sister Zella and niece Neldara. Ida raised chickens, sold eggs and grew large gardens to help make a living as well as helping Zella sew. She grew beautiful flowers and used her floral arranging talents to keep fresh flowers in the Valley View Baptist Church. She made all the floral arangements, bouquets and boutineres for Neldara's wedding. Ida died February 5, 1996 in Nocona and is buried in the New Spanish Fort Cemetery in Montague County, TX. Tula Elizabeth Rose was born March 6, 1910 near Richland Spring, San Saba County, TX to Thomas Jefferson "Bud" and Lillie Bell (Jones) Rose. She married Homer John Webb October 20, 1936. Two children were born to this union: Billy Gene Webb, born December 1, 1937 north of Nocona in the Maddox house and Barbara Rose Webb born in Wichita Falls while they lived with the other Roses in the former Teacherage north of Nocona near Spanish Fort. Tula worked in a retail store in Nocona for many years. Homer was a painter by trade. Tula died in Nocona on July 29, 1986. Homer died in Nocona March 12, 1978. Zella Lois Rose was born to Thomas Jefferson "Bud" and Lillie (Jones) Rose, December 18, 1913 near Richland Springs, San Saba County, TX. Her father died six months later, so she was raised by her mom Lillie and her five older siblings. They lived in the San Saba, McCulloch, and Brown County areas of Texas until August 1918 when they came via covered wagon to the valley along Red River north of Nocona near Spanish Fort. Zella had one daughter: Neldara Rose, born June 6, 1935 when they lived on the Rolls (pronounced Rawls) place on Maddox Creek north of Nocona. Zella bought a Singer sewing machine from a traveling salesman, taught herself to sew and made her living sewing for others as well as making costumes, dresses, formals and eventually a wedding dress for her daughter. Zella and Neldara lived with Lillie, brother William (Undle Bill) and sister Ida (Aunt Ida). On Thankgiving Day, 1941, they moved into the only home they ever owned: Valley View School that had been altered to be used as a teacherage. As of November,2004, Zella still lives there and still attends church across the street at Valley View Baptist Church. At the age of 90 plus, she is still blowing and going. Neldara Rose was born June 6, 1935 to Zella Rose at the Rolls place near Maddox Creek north of Nocona, Montague County, TX. At birth, she was severely premature--so much so that the doctor told her midwife Grandmother just "do what you can for her Lillie, she isn't going to make it." He didn't know her grandmother!!! Because of the love and determination of her mother Zella, her grandmother Lillie, Aunt Ida and Uncle Bill, Neldara grew and flourished. In 1941, she and her family moved into the former Valley View School/Teacherage and she lived there until her marriage April 1, 1956 in Nocona to Clyde William Loudamy. Three boys were born to this union: Clyde Wayne born January 20, 1957; Anthony William "Tony" born February 23, 1959; Kevin, born October 21, 1960. Neldara worked as a professional cake decorator and Clyde was a butcher by trade. They retired in Tyler, Texas
